Two kinds of certificate
For work or for school
The doctor chooses the kind that fits your situation.
Sick leave (arrêt de travail)
For your employer: the prescribed sick-leave period, the number of days and, if the doctor states it, the expected return date.
School exemption (dispense de scolarité)
For a school or university: the period during which your health means you cannot attend classes.
Need your sick leave extended? After a new consultation, the doctor can issue an extension certificate.

The details of a standard certificate, plus a verification QR code.
- The doctor's name, specialty and Medical Council (CNOM) registration number
- Your first and last name
- The start and end dates and the number of days
- The expected return date, if the doctor states it
- The doctor's remarks, if any
- The doctor's signature, a reference number and the QR code

A screenshot or an edited copy is not proof. If the QR code does not lead to sahtidoc.ma or the details differ, contact us.
FAQ
Online medical certificate: your questions
Can I get a medical certificate online in Morocco?
Yes, after a real consultation with a doctor registered with the Medical Council, if the doctor considers your condition can be assessed by video. On Sahti Doc a certificate is never sold on its own: the doctor decides, after seeing you, whether it is justified.
Will my employer or school accept it?
The certificate carries the doctor's name, specialty, Medical Council number and signature, plus a QR code to check that it is genuine online. Each employer or institution sets its own rules and may ask for a follow-up medical check: if in doubt, ask them. Also remember to tell your employer about your absence within 48 hours.
How much does an online medical certificate cost?
There is no extra fee: you only pay for the consultation, at the price the doctor shows before you book.
How fast will I get it?
As soon as the doctor has issued it. You find it from your consultation link, sent by email and WhatsApp.
Can I get a certificate for days that have already passed?
No. The doctor only certifies what they observe during the consultation: they cannot justify a past absence after the fact. See a doctor as soon as symptoms start.
What if I lose my certificate?
It stays available from your consultation link. You can download it again at any time.
Is this certificate enough for CNSS sick-pay benefits?
No. For daily sickness benefits, the CNSS requires its own form, the « avis d'interruption de travail », completed by the doctor. The Sahti Doc certificate does not replace it: check with your employer or the CNSS.
